For as terrible as yesterday was, today has been great. Benjamin slept SEVEN hours straight last night, and then another 3 during the morning (which allowed me to get some chores done). He's been in a good mood all day, and at the moment is in his crib "talking to"/cooing at the insect mobile hanging above it. Plus, my friend Tina came over today for lunch, baby-book shopping at Half-Price Books, and chocolate chip/pumpkin muffin-eating good times. All in all a nice day! Now if only Clay hadn't had to go out of town for work today. Hopefully he won't be home too late this evening.
In the video below Benjamin is giving a sample of his new "chattiness". He's been enjoying the "Ooo" vowel sound today.
