2 months old (as of yesterday!

We had our 2 month pediatrician visit yesterday. Benjamin now weighs exactly 11 pounds (which puts him in the 25% percentile) and is 23.25 inches long (which puts him in the 80% percentile).

The doctor was pleased with his weight gain and length, and used a formula to predict how tall Ben will be one day: mothers height (5 ft 10in) + 5, averaged with father's height (6 ft 3 in)= 6 ft 3 in. So it looks like we can guess he will definitely be a chip off the old block one day. It's very weird to think of him being so tall when he is so small right now!!

Benji also got 5 shots and one oral vaccine, screaming heartily through it all, but was okay when I started feeding him right afterwards. He was been a bit fussy the rest of the day, but it's hard to say if it has anything to do with the vaccine. Unless we have a concern about something we won't go back to the doctor until Benjamin's 4 months old. It's weird to think that that is twice his age now!
